NIH Clinical Trials: Quick Fit: The Complete 15-minute, No-Sweat Workout DVD has been adapted for use in the NIH-sponsored ACCORD (Action to Control Cardiovascular Risk in Diabetes) trial. The exercise program will be used in the study as a lifestyle therapy to promote physical activity among all of the 10,000 participants.
Manassas Study: Quick Fit Products, in coordination with The American University and Manassas Schools, is conducting a study on the relationship of physical activity to academics, socialization, and physical fitness testing scores. Quick Fit is a simple program that is being incorporated in the classrooms and does not consume an enormous amount of class time (15 minutes). The study began in January 2008 and includes 300 students ranging from elementary to middle school.
